Preparing for Airspace World 2025
Leading up to the event in May in Lisbon, Tomorrow’s Voices will host a series of pre-event webinars and collaborative sessions. These online gatherings will introduce participants to each other, share resources, and kick off a journey of joint learning.
“Tomorrow’s Voices isn’t just an initiative, it’s a movement inviting everyone who believes in the power of collaboration, education, and innovation to help shape the future skies,” concludes Garcia. “Whether you’re a student wondering if aviation could be your path, a professional with a story to share, or an organisation committed to cultivating talent and driving innovation, you should be part of this journey.”

Breakfast with CEOs
Airspace World 2025 will also replicate last year’s informal breakfast event with top aviation leaders, designed to break down hierarchies and foster real, open conversations. It provides young talent with the opportunity to get candid advice, ask questions, and hear about the potential in aviation from those at the top of the industry.
There will also be extensive networking opportunities. Aside from the Tomorrow’s Voices community of people who are passionate about aviation, learning, and supporting each other’s journey, there will be Walking Tours of Inspiration, allowing the participants to explore the work of pioneering companies in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and ATM.
“These tours aren’t about showcasing achievements but about learning and sparking curiosity about the future of aviation,” Garcia explains.
A new development for Airspace World 2025 is the Engage 2 Matchmaking App. This is being designed to help young professionals, students, and companies connect through profiles tailored to shared interests, career goals and mentorship opportunities. The goal is to foster genuine connections that continue long after Airspace World 2025.
“That’s the spirit behind Tomorrow’s Voices, an inclusive and dynamic initiative by the Complete Air Traffic System (CATS) Global Council, where young professionals are not just participants but co-creators of the future of aviation,” says Eduardo Garcia, CANSO’s Senior Manager, Future Skies.
Airspace World 2025 in Lisbon, 13-15 May will continue this journey of discovery and mutual growth. At the event a series of activities will connect, educate, and inspire the next generation of talent. The aim is to break down barriers, open doors, and allow every voice to be heard.
Central to the activities will be a Tomorrow’s Voices Forum. Young professionals and experienced industry leaders will come together to share ideas and learn from each other. Numerous themes will include:
Finding Your Path: Stories from young professionals and organisations like NAV Canada on creating more welcoming, inclusive paths into aviation.
Championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Industry success stories that inspire and offer actionable ideas for integrating DEI into everyday work.
Mentorship that Matters: Practical support for mentorship, including reverse mentoring sessions where everyone learns, regardless of age or experience.
Aside from the Forum, CANSO is organising numerous side events and initiatives. Informal skills-building bootcamps, for example, will provide hands-on sessions in leadership, communication, sustainability, creative problem-solving, and understanding aviation’s global impact.
Improving air traffic management performance even as the skies get busier will take fresh perspectives, diverse voices, and an unwavering commitment to collaboration.
